As a fee-based financial planner, Nina is amongst the top of Prudential Financial Planners for the quality of plans that she produces for her clients. She offers a variety of insurance and financial solutions and services, as well as tactical recommendations to help her clients achieve and protect their financial security goals. Tax efficiencies in planning are always top of mind.
Professionally, Nina focuses on retirement planning for highly compensated executives, individuals as well as small businesses. She also works with professional and educational organizations, offering growth and protection strategies and implements tactics to achieve client goals, not only by maximizing their benefit plans through their employer, but also through the use of many products including investment vehicles and insurance products such as long-term care insurance, life insurance and annuities. This also includes managing wrap fee accounts for her clients based on their risk tolerance and time horizon, as prescribed by their financial plans. Walking people through life, helping with accumulation as well as the most efficient distribution strategies sits at the epicenter of Nina’s relationships with her clients.
Prior to joining Chartered Financial Services, Nina was the Manager of Agency Training for Prudential’s North Western Hills Financial Group from 2000 to 2006, where she trained, supervised and recruited financial professionals in a firm of 110 representatives. She holds the following licenses, certifications and designations Life and Health insurance license, Property and Casualty insurance license, Registered Investment Advisor, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®), Certified Long Term Care Consultant (CLTC) and Registered Nurse (RN), Masters of Art (MA) in Public Health.
Prior to working in the world of finance, Nina worked in the medical field. She practiced as the Administrative Director and Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist at both the Craniofacial-Neurosurgical Center, as well as the Lead Poisoning Prevention and Treatment Center at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. She also practiced as an Advanced Practice Nurse at the Department of Pediatric Gastroenterology at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Nina earned her Masters of Arts degree in Public Health from Columbia Graduate School of Arts and Sciences in New York. She also received a Bachelor of Science degree from Columbia School of Nursing, after earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.
After practicing for over thirteen years Nina changed to the world of financial and insurance services, where she now tends to people’s fiscal health, which she strongly believes impacts people’s physical health as well. Nina lives in Chatham, NJ, is married and has two daughters, Emily and Sara, both of whom work with Nina and her husband, John, in their practice. Nina is also the proud grandmother of Jackson, Cameron and Emma. When not working with clients, she enjoys traveling, snowshoeing, hiking, gardening, reading, listening to music and being with her family.
